A Mooney Service Instruction (S.I.) is used as a means of communication between the manufacturer, Mooney Service Centers and the customer.

 

The Service Instruction is prepared to address service recommendations in the way of inspections, repairs, minor modifications, alternate parts (installation and procedures), advise of vendor service information, retrofit or repair kit availability, and is a means of offering service tips.

 

The Service Instruction addresses a specific Model and Serial No. Effectivity; establishes a Time of Compliance; spells out step-by-step instructions on how to accomplish the subject task; lists Reference Data, Warranty information (if applicable), Parts List and includes Figures and Tables for clarity.
